Here’s an opportunity to reach a US (pending) FTA partner

Commercial News USA, the Department of Commerce export promotion magazine, has a special offer for exporters: buy two ads and get a third free plus get a free listing ad translated into Korean in an online supplement.

While Congress struggles to reach agreement on the free trade agreement with South Korea (and Colombia and Panama) before summer recess begins on August 5, the deadline for the September-October issue of Commercial News is July 15.

How you figure the odds of the SoKUS FTA being in force this fall may affect your decision to advertise. If it doesn’t win Congressional approval, expect stepped-up competition from companies benefiting from the South Korea-European Union FTA that took effect July 1 (see “Whisky to Flow Freely”).

To book your ads in Commercial News USA, call 1-800-581-8533, Ext. 822 or email [email protected]. You can also visit the newly redesigned Commercial News website at www.thinkglobal.us.
