Leader in trade data for the Americas marks 20th year with expanded presence in Brazil

MIAMI – October 24, 2012 Datamyne, a leading provider of international business intelligence based on import-export trade data, announced the opening of a sales office in São Paolo, Brazil.

“Establishing an office in São Paolo, the largest city in the Americas, is a major milestone for Datamyne,” says Brendan McCahill, Datamyne CEO.

“We trace our roots to Montevideo where we began our mission of delivering timely, accurate and comprehensive data on trade in the Americas. As we have expanded our database to cover the US and Latin America, we have established locations in Buenos Aires and Miami,” McCahill continues. “What better way to celebrate our 20th year than by opening an office in São Paolo?”

The new Datamyne office will be under the direction of Gustavo Montes, Director of Sales, and will be staffed to provide a full range of sales and account management services. The office will be at Rua Cássio Martins Villaça, 26 – Pacaembu, São Paulo. Inquiries may be directed to [email protected]

“Brazil is a strategic market for Datamyne,” adds McCahill.

“As the ‘BRIC’ market economy of the Americas, Brazil is clearly bound for a leading role in the world’s commerce. Just as clearly, Brazilian enterprises will need international business intelligence of the caliber we provide as they evaluate their opportunities and assert themselves in the global marketplace.”
