Datamyne blog contributor Peter Quinter offers workshops on importing, exporting & compliance

Becker & Poliakoff law firm and Miami-Dade’s Office of Economic Development & International Trade are presenting three workshops on at the Miami Free Zone, 2305 NW 107th Ave. in Doral.

All sessions will run on Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program covers:

  • Session 1, Oct. 7: Exporting compliance, the Small Business Administration’s Export Finance program, and Export-Import Bank financing.
  • Session 2, Nov. 4: Importing food into the United States.
  • Session 3, Dec. 9: Understanding the U.S. Customs’ fines, penalties and seizures process.

The workshops will be led by Peter Quinter, chair of the Customs and International Trade Department of Becker & Poliakoff, and guest columnist on the Datamyne blog.
