Despite reports that reshoring efforts are bringing manufacturing back to the US, the sector is still seeing a net deficit in jobs since the recession, Design News contributor Elizabeth Montalbano writes.

Her column examines the challenges to companies that want to bring production back to the US, and cites programs aimed at overcoming the challenges – including the Economic Development Program that combines resources from the Reshoring Initiative and Datamyne to identify reshoring opportunities.
