Category: Press Releases

October 9 conference in Miami to explore the US entrepreneur’s “next best commercial frontier”

MIAMI – July 7, 2015 – Datamyne, a leading source of global trade data, has teamed with NEXCO, provider of international trade seminars, to organize a conference focused on the essentials of doing business in the soon to be reopened Cuban market.

Preparing for Trade with Cuba will bring together top experts in law, trade regulation, market research, international business and logistics to discuss the opportunities restored US-Cuba relations create and how to leverage them.

“Inc. calls Cuba the US entrepreneur’s next best commercial frontier. As on any frontier, there are opportunities and risks. Preparing for Trade with Cuba will help you assess the risks and discover how to home in on opportunities for your business,” says Brendan McCahill, Datamyne CEO and one of the conference speakers.

Other conference speakers include Steven Wagner, attorney at Fuerst Ittleman David & Joseph; John Kavulich, president of US-Cuba Trade and Economic Council; Ted Henken, author of Entrepreneurial Cuba: The Changing Policy Landscape; Peter Quinter, shareholder in GrayRobinson and chair of its Customs & International Trade Law Group; Mark Condon, Datamyne economic development specialist. Other speakers are to be announced.

The conference will be at the Sofitel in Miami, Fla., October 9, 2015. For more information, including the conference agenda, and to register online (an early-bird discount applies through July 31st), go to www.datamyne.com/preparing-for-trade-with-cuba-2015.
