MIAMI – August 6, 2009 The Datamyne Inc., a leading provider of international trade data to major corporations and institutions, today announced that Brendan McCahill has been named chief executive officer, effective immediately. Mr. McCahill, who joined The Datamyne in December 2007, will also chair the management committee. He is based at the company’s Miami headquarters.

Jonathan Wendell, executive chairman of The Datamyne, said, “We are delighted to welcome Brendan to his new role has head of our global operations. His expertise will be pivotal in leading the company into a new phase of growth. The commercial and maritime needs for quality trade data have never been greater, and we are acting on a number of initiatives related to market and product development in response to customer demand.”

Prior to joining The Datamyne, Mr. McCahill served as president of PIERS, and in senior management positions with Hanjin Shipping, Norton Lilly International, Gulf & Atlantic Maritime Services and Associated Container Transportation. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University and has completed graduate studies at Fordham University.

The company also announced that Pablo Milburn, who led the company’s operations since 2006, will remain on The Datamyne’s senior management team with responsibility for the commercial business in Central and South America. Mr. Milburn will also oversee content expansion of The Datamyne’s international trade databases.

Mr. Wendell continued, “We are very pleased that Pablo will remain with the company in a key management position. He has been instrumental in building our U.S. operations over the past three years, and we thank him for his many contributions.”
