How to break into South America’s biggest market  

The US Commercial Service is offering a webinar on the Brazilian market for medical equipment that will survey the overall opportunity and best prospects for US exporters as well as the details of registering products, navigating the regulatory approval process, and opening an office in Brazil.

Also on the agenda: The Commercial Service will be providing its International Partner Search service at Hospitalar, Latin America’s largest medical trade show, to be held this year in São Paulo, May 24-27.

This is a market in which the US leads (as Datamyne’s 2010 Brazilian import data confirms – see the chart below). It also provides entré to the MERCOSUR common market.
