BLOOMBERG – Global Trade Searches for Bottom in Slump of 2023

Cautious optimism is creeping in amid early signs that the worst of global trade’s slump may be over.

Bloomberg’s latest Trade Tracker posted this year’s best readings yet, with only four out of 10 indicators in below-normal range. It’s a significant improvement from the start of 2023 when nine out of 10 gauges were deep in the red, though none have yet recovered enough to hit above-normal territory.
